Why is this ‘Your Local’? “Nice balance between a cafe and bar atmosphere with good beer and food. It’s not like any other university bar I’ve visited, having loads of hand pulls of beer and a fridge full of craft beer”. Favourite tipple: Brearley , a collaborative brew from Sheffield University Real Ale Society and Thornbridge Brewery. A New World hoppy amber ale at 4 per cent. Named after the stainless steel originator Harry Brearley and using New World hops like Pacific Jade and Gem in addition to some dry hopping techniques.
