Audio Gold - London
Audio Gold are having a free turntable surgery in the shop on RSD, with their best man on hand to offer help and advice and carry out minor surgery there and then for free (parts will be charged of course). Larger/longer issues we will book jobs in for later.
They’ll also be full of all sorts of vinyl accessories for the day, again to focus on the fact that vinyl is at its brilliant best when ones turntable has had a little love.
The record store itself will be plumped out with several collections we've been holding back and some guest stalls from collectors/dealers and of course RSD releases.
We always keep bins of good records that we sell at £1 a piece in aid of Gilles Petersons Steve Reid Foundation, which is a tributary of the Musicians Benevolent Fund. We'll be plumping them out too, so there'll be bundles of bargains to be had.

Badlands - Cheltenham
Stocking a massive selection of RSD exclusives as well as food stalls including Badlands Staffs legendary Homemade Cake stall. In the evening, concert and party at local nightclub Subtone featuring the “One man Clash” from New York, the mighty Willie Nile. All this and it's Badlands co-owners 50th Birthday party as well!
Berwick Street Event – Soho
Vinyl destination Berwick Street Soho will be transformed into a mini music festival for Record Store Day on Saturday 20 April 12-7pm curated by independent record shop Sister Ray.
Seven acts will perform live from a stage in the street. The acts playing on the day will be:
Cult rock band The Wire
Folk/Punk Singer-Songwriter Frank Turner
Steve Mason, formally of The Beta Band
Folk Duo Smoke Fairies
Critically Acclaimed Matthew E White
Plus a performance by Gabrielle Aplin
The event will be opened by Charles Taylor from Reckless Records with his recently reunited acid rock band, Brainiac 5
Each act will take to the stage for a 20-30 minute set.
Soho is home to a number of independent record shops including, Reckless Records, Sister Ray and The Music and Video Exchange as well as Sounds of the Universe on Broadwick Street, Black Market Soho on D’Arblay Street and Phonica on Poland Street.
All six of the independent vinyl and record stores of Berwick Street are joining forces to celebrate Record Store Day.
The main stage area will be located at the Berwick Street and D’Arblay Street junctions outside Sister Ray.
There will also be DJ sets and in-store parties at Sounds of the Universe, Black Market Soho and Phonica. Expect all genres from reggae to electronica.
The official Record Store Day film ‘Last Shop Standing’ will be screened on the day in a pop-up cinema. Author of the book this documentary is based on, Graham Jones will also be around on the day for a Q&A and to sign copies of the book and DVD’s.
BM Soho
BM Soho, London's longest running independent dance music record store, feel it is their obligation and privilege to celebrate Record Store Day to the max – with an entire day of back-to-back in-stores!
Kicking off at 12pm, the Record Store Day celebration is all about thanking their loyal followers and friends for supporting BM Soho for over two decades – and helping them maintain its cult status as one of the most credible and best loved record shops worldwide.

Last Shop Standing - Plymouth
On Saturday April 20th the store will be open until late offering limited edition RSD 2013 vinyl releases and they will be taking requests. Throughout the day there will be live acoustic sets and record signings from local artists, poetry readings and Live DJ’s in association with Really Good Records.
The Music Exchange – Nottingham
During the day we will have DJs and a spoken word set from David Thomas (Pere Ubu) then in the evening we have teamed up with Leftlion magazine to bring together a night of Nottingham’s most exciting bands. The Hip Priests, I Am Lono, The Cusp and Hang as well as Hello Thor! vs Selectadisc DJs. The gig takes place at Spanky Van Dykes £4 adv/£5 on the door.
Music and Goods Exchange
Notting Hill will be having DJs, Sean P and Richard ‘Padded Cell’ Sen. Gatto Fritto, RUFUS & Bambi, Jaybird Slim and Dr Kruger will also be appearing instore.
The Berwick Street shop will have Jonny Goodfella and Tommy Koi. The shop will also be taking part in the festivities happening in Soho, as well as stocking RSD releases and 10% off all second hand stock.
Birmingham will have RSD stock, and 10% off all second hand stock.

Music Mania
Music Mania will be starting the day with free oatcakes and homemade cookies for all men, women and children who have queued. Then around midday live acoustic sets by the brilliant Alfa 9, Vellocet, Camp Stag, Aaron Mobberley and Giro Junkie.
After dark the party will continue at The Sugarmill, Hanley, where Alfa 9 will be doing a full headline set and there will be a Music Mania RSD stall.
Musics Not Dead – Bexhill-on-sea
From 3pm Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou will be playing instore at Music's Not Dead. They have done 3 albums, the latest of which 'La ferme de fontenaille', was released last year. They have recently been touring with Beth Orton and the Rockingbirds and are about to do some dates with Loudon Wainwright.
Piccadilly – Manchester
Record Store Day special at Common in Manchester in conjunction with Piccadilly Records.
Saturday 20th April 2013 / 1pm - 2am (free before 9pm / £2 after)
Common have teamed up with Piccadilly Records to bring you a day filled with live music, DJs, cassettes, special burgers and beer all in the name of Record Store Day, a day that celebrates the independent record shops throughout the world.
During the day there will be DJs from Manchester record labels such as SWAYS, Red Deer Club, Folk Lore and Piccadilly Record's own Pasta Paul. Playing live are Glasgow based Jonnie Common, Bernard + Edith, Emperor Zero and Horsebeach. In the evening Ruf Kutz takes over with sets from Tusk (Tusk Wax) and Ruf Dug himself.
They’ll be a special 'Quiff Ale' on tap, a collaboration with Quantum Brewery and a very limited 'Piccalilli Burger' - if you buy a RSD release from Piccadilly Records on the day, make sure you get your hand stamped to get 10% off these.
On sale at Common and at Piccadilly Records will be a limited edition tape (only 50!) featuring tracks from all the bands that'll be performing here!

Along with all the madness on the day, Band of Skulls will be playing in store and also, The B of the Bang - who will be officially launching their second album and also very excitingly be officially launching the Pie & Vinyl records label.
In the evening they will be showing the premiere of the extended version of 'Last shop standing' in which Pie & Vinyl heavily featured. We are also putting a band on afterwards which is to be confirmed. On the Sunday there will be a label launch show at the Wedgewood rooms.

Frank Turner - After a year that saw a headline sold-out Wembley Area show and a performance at the London Olympics Opening Ceremony, Frank Turner will open the live performances for the 2013 Record Store Day at Rough Trade East.
Daniel Avery who is best known to clubbers around the world for his residency behind the decks at Fabric will be playing some records behind the counter throughout the morning.
Sam Willis will be performing live at 12:30pm
Public Service Broadcasting will follow at 2:30pm
The Strypes will then take to the stage at 4pm
King Midas Sound will follow at 6pm
Here at Rough Trade we believe Record Store Day is a day when the whole family can enjoy their local independent record shop and this year we're pleased to welcome Pete Fowler to the programme of the day. Pete will be creating a special Record Store Day themed colouring-in wall for the kids to get busy with whilst Mum and Dad are browsing.
A revised café menu and speciality drinks will also be on offer as well as our usual hot beverages and you can even get your face painted like Ziggy Stardust if you wish!
Rough Trade West
An array of musicians will be playing within those legendary four walls at Rough Trade West.

Soul Brother Records will be open early at 9am on RSD and will be stocking a range of RSD Exclusive releases as well as an in depth coverage of soul , jazz and reggae releases.
The Doggett brothers will be launching their album 'Daylight;' with an in store signing from 12-2
There will also be a one day only sale of selected vinyl titles, £5 each or 3 for £10.
Sounds of the Universe – London
On Saturday 20 April 2013 Sounds of the Universe and Soul Jazz Records will literally rock the block in Soho, London!
Soho is being closed off to traffic and the shop and record label will have a soundsystem in full effect in the street outside our store!

Spillers will have DJ sets running all day, provided (as always) by Spillers customers from far and wide; Tim Ellis (Bristol), David Malys (Tamworth), DJ Rascal (Cardiff Via Netherlands), Lesbian Horse (London via Newport) and Liam Curtin (from down the road!).
Live music lined up includes Sweet Baboo, Bones of Saint James and Rail Road Bill.

For our first ever Record Store Day event, we are planning to bring out more records on display on the shop floor, with many rare + previously unseen items together with the usual bargains.
