North Sea Jazz festival 2007

Just a quick one - will try to add a couple of pics in a bit - but again quality stuff. Maceo Parker and Martha High - legends and funked the whole of the Nile stage out - especially the powerful voice of Martha. Hypnotic Brass Ensemble - brass meets Hip Hop - live , heavy go search them out! Hypnotic Brass Myspace Hypnotic Brass Blog 'War' Hypnotic Brass Video Friday: Terence Blanchard performing The Movie Music of Spike Lee with Metropole Orchestra Conducted by Vince Mendoza featuring Jamie Cullum, Bilal and Patti Austin was the opening of Friday and set the tone for the rest of the weekend. For me one of the highlights was Bilal droppping a spoken word peiece from Spike's Mo' Better Blues. Next The Roots with a once in lifetime performance - normally you see them in the UK doing an album gig - this was the full works plus covers of all time classics (with tuba belting out on stage) and finally rocking out with Led Zep., wow. AL Green - what a smile, what a catalogue

more trainers catching my eye - shit i've got no money....boo
